Walking for hours at times, tens of thousands of believers embark on a nine-day, eight-night pilgrimage. As pilgrims traverse rural towns and fields, road safety becomes the most crucial traffic issue.

At one night of the holiday season in 2021, Huangpu River in Shanghai will be lit for 5km.
We’ll start by launching 555 drones into the air to create the shape of No.5 for 5 minutes with LED lighting above the Bund.
After the lights of drones go off, all the lighting near the water surface will be turned on and literally turn the river into a shimmering, gold flowing pool near the Bund, in resemblance to the color of Chanel No.5.
This magnificent projection on the river will make it look like it’s being filled with Chanel No.5.
Both sides of the city will be ignited with the unmistakeable GOLDEN HUE.
Meanwhile, the walkway by the Bund and Lujiazui will be installed with scent diffusers.
When you walk by these area you will smell the scent of Chanel No.5 in the air.
